Computational Thinking & AI Enter the CBSE Curriculum
CBSE has introduced the Computational Thinking (CT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) curriculum for Classes III–VIII from the academic session 2026–27, in alignment with NEP 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education.
The curriculum focuses on developing logical reasoning, problem-solving, pattern recognition, algorithmic thinking, digital literacy and responsible use of artificial intelligence through age-appropriate learning.
CBSE has advised affiliated schools to take the necessary steps for effective implementation of the curriculum.
AI Zenovate helps schools build practical, future-ready learning environments through AI, coding, robotics, hands-on technology activities and supporting educational infrastructure.
